31JanValentines Day Gifts Offers

I just got paid today :p which is great. Before I went and spent what little money I have I thought I should get online and organise a Valentines day gift for my girlfriend. I thought I’d play it a bit safe this year and get her something she wanted rather than something I wished she had.

First Stop for Valentines Gifts

Straight into Google and I looked for some lingerie. So I went to La Senza - and found they were doing free delivery - whoopee (I always think that this should be available on everything you buy online assuming its not a TV or something huge). there is also a prize of £100 available if you give them your email address - so gmail account submitted more in hope than in expectation.

Next Stop

Having decided to try something different I had a quick squizz at Roy Bendys website A1Gifts.co.uk (he’s a nice fellow and I prefer to give money to people I’ve met). Here I found The Nooki Board Game - didn’t buy it but thought I would mention it as it seems like a ditracting way to spend a cold evening in.

Where Now?

I still haven’t bought any gifts for valentines day. Am still at the browsing stage but I may go back to La Senza and have a look again as it has brightened up my morning.

30Jan24 - Series 6 for £17.99

Was just rummaging through some emails my mate sent me about deals at HMV. Apparently you can now get 24: Season 6, which was almost £50.00 now only £17.99. Seems to be a good deal - I don’t really like 24 (I prefer Lost now if only I could get Lost series 3 for £18 I’d be happy).

Have just found the same deal at Virgin - anyone would think that the pricing was a conspiracy.

29JanDiscounted Room at Ramada Jarvis Leeds

I’m just heading off down to Leeds for a quick break and was looking for somewhere a little different to stay. I usually go to a Travellodge or something. But I thought I would go somewhere different so I had a quick look through the usual places. My friend Colin recomended staying at the Ramada Jarvis Hotel in Leeds - they’ve got rooms from £25 per person per night. So I’m going to stay here for a change - will report back on it once I’ve been down.

If you know of anywhere else I should be staying please let me know.
