My black and white car Leia is in for a bad week or two with going to the vet to get neutered. And it was only when I found out how much these things cost to look after that I started to think about hoe much my little ball of fluff could end up costing me.

Anyway I’ve had a scoot about the web to find deals on pet insurance and TBH they all seem to do pretty much the same thing and cost pretty much the same (probably because the majority seem to be underwritten by AXA).

So I looked at the ‘added value’ components rather than the bottom line - for the first time in ages. And I’ve decided to go with RSCPA pet insurance- I get my cat insured and the RSPCA get 20% of my premiums - seems like the best of a fairly equivalent bunch.

So try it out and see how you get on - if anyone else can reccomend an alternative put it in the comments as my girl friends now talking about getting a pug dog! And from what I’ve seen online the thing is going to cost me a fortune,
