Recently for my friend Bills birthday, he writes on this whisky blog, I was trying to purchase some whisky online. I looked at the usual places like The Whisky Exchange, Majestic Wine and Oddbins. And to tell you the truth I found the whole thing kinda bewildering.

My plan was to get something a little bit different and whilst browsing I came across The Angels Share. This is a small whisky shop, which seems to have a huge online selection to buy from. So I took a quick drive up and found them to be far more informative than any of the online stores could be.

Maybe the lesson I should take from this is that buying online if you know what you’re looking for is great. Buying in the high street is maybe more appropriate if you need some help.
